Why Is Life So Hard?

Do you have an answer to the question above? I know I don't have a definitive answer, but I sure do have a couple theories:

If life was easier, I guess we wouldn't know what it is to struggle. It would be a whole lot harder to appreciate something. I actually wonder if we would even understand the meaning of the word appreciate. In case you were wondering, appreciate means (according to meriam-webster.com) "to grasp the nature, worth, quality, or significance of". Think about it, don't you appreciate something when you have to work harder to obtain it? Don't you appreciate something when you know it's a struggle every day to keep it going?

Sure, you may get upset at life once in a while. Your job isn't the greatest because your boss has bad breath. Maybe you have problems with your family members, and they just don't seem to get it. Maybe you just can't seem to find the one that's worth being your life partner. How I see it is this: if you never really experienced or seen the bad, then you probably will never fully understand the good. How can you appreciate the good boss, if you don't even know what a bad boss is suppose to be like? How do you know that things are going great with your family if you don't even know what it means for things to be going bad?

Here's a theory. Maybe this will blow your mind, or maybe it won't. How are we ever suppose to appreciate Heaven, if we don't work hard here on Earth? The Bible describes Heaven as a majestic place. Jesus said in John 14:2 KJV that there are mansions. I don't know about you, but I haven't lived in a mansion. Even if I did, there's no way it could compare to a Heavenly mansion. Appreciation for a place like Heaven, possibly could only be obtained by living a life that isn't easy. Ask yourself, is that the Christian life? The life that isn't easy, but surely worth it.

I agree with youi think you touched on valid points. Honestly if it wasn't for all this hot air i wouldnt appreciate the cold weather. Often times what i think happens we get caught up in the motions of life and take things for granted. What eneds up happening is that we dont appreciate what we have until its Gone. But all the test that we go through should be a great testimony that we can share to others
